RIVERBLOCK

RIVERBLOCK is an experimental concrete table with a river of LEGO bricks running through its surface. The colourful pieces are cast directly into the concrete, replacing the flowing epoxy of a traditional river table with a dense layer of familiar plastic bricks. The result plays with the contrast between raw construction material, colour and childhood building blocks. There are also hidden rooms built into the table’s interior.
