BEHIND THE CURTAIN

BEHIND THE CURTAIN is inspired by a famous street art image and illustrates how skateboarding can change the way you see things and bring colour back into your everyday life. It is an experimental object built on a used skateboard deck. Clippings from Thrasher magazine are collaged onto the board, then layered with folded paper to create a curtain-like surface. Spray paint ties the different elements together, while parts of the original imagery remain visible beneath and between the layers.
